40 kVA three-phase microturbine power - now taking orders
The MTP40 takes everything that makes the MTG12 work on remote sites and scales it to three-phase 40 kVA. 32 kW prime, 44 kVA standby, 200% short circuit capability for motor starting, and the same one-service-a-year, multi-fuel operating model. Order books are open and delivery slots are being allocated now.

The MTP40 runs every fuel below on the same machine, with no hardware change and in any blend ratio. Switch fuel as price, supply and regulation move - the service interval and design life do not change.
Gaseous fuels - biogas, lpg, natural gas, flare gas, hydrogen, ethanol, bioethanol - are in active development, enabled by the modular combustor architecture.

Both units operate across -20°C to +50°C, subject to the Cold Pack or Hot Pack kit. Each unit has its own rated condition: the MTG12 is rated at 15°C (ISO standard reference conditions), and the MTP40 is rated at 25°C. Separately, ISO 8528 standard reference conditions are defined as 15°C, 1,013 mbar and 60% relative humidity, and output de-rating applies for altitude and for temperature above those reference conditions. An alternative battery specification may be recommended for sustained high-ambient operation. Tell us your site conditions and we will confirm the rating you can expect.
Diesel, kerosene, paraffin, HVO, FAME biofuel, and blends of these in any ratio. No hardware change is needed to switch between them, and performance, service interval and design life are unchanged.
One service visit per year. There is one moving part and no oil to change - the unit runs on air bearings - against a diesel genset's typical monthly or 300 run-hour interval.
