Environmental Policy

Our Vision

Bladon Technologies' vision is to anticipate the world's evolving need for sustainable distributed power by providing innovative fuel flexible solutions for our customers that eliminate carbon and other harmful emissions for future generations.

Environmental Commitment

We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our operations and products. Our environmental policy applies to all activities carried out by Bladon Technologies and we will:

  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, regulations and codes of practice
  • Prevent pollution and minimise our environmental impact wherever possible
  • Reduce waste generation, increase recycling and promote the efficient use of resources
  • Minimise energy consumption and actively seek to improve energy efficiency
  • Consider environmental factors in the design and development of our products
  • Work with suppliers who share our commitment to environmental responsibility
  • Continually improve our environmental performance through setting objectives and targets

Product Environmental Impact

Our microturbine genset technology is designed to be inherently cleaner than conventional diesel generators. The Bladon MTG produces significantly lower emissions of NOx, CO, and particulate matter. With no oil changes and dramatically reduced service requirements, our products minimise environmental impact throughout their operational lifecycle. The MTG12 is air cooled and has no liquid coolant circuit. The MTP40has a coolant circuit and a water-cooled alternator, using a sealed for life water glycol mix.

Future Fuels

We are actively developing our technology to support sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), hydrogen, and other zero-carbon fuels. Our fuel-flexible design philosophy ensures that our products can transition to cleaner fuels as they become commercially available, supporting the global drive towards net-zero emissions.

Operational Practices

In our own operations, we are committed to:

  • Monitoring and reducing our carbon footprint
  • Efficient use of water, energy and raw materials
  • Responsible waste management and maximising recycling
  • Minimising the use of hazardous substances
  • Promoting environmental awareness among our employees

Communication & Review

This policy is communicated to all employees and made available to interested parties. It is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to ensure it remains relevant and effective in driving continuous environmental improvement.
